Rifle

OUR GOAL
Discovery Café supports the development of a recovery community by providing a safe meeting place, community resources and peer support for individuals in recovery. The Discovery Cafe provides an alternative supportive community for individuals in Garfield County. The Cafe is located in the town of Rifle, an area that has no local treatment facilities and few community resources for those in early recovery. The Discovery Cafe serves as a low-barrier resource to those who cannot access transportation to large towns like Glenwood Springs or Grand Junction for services. Furthermore, it connects people in early recovery to support, resources, and community along the continuum of individuals’ unique recovery process. Importantly, the cafe is located on the campus of Colorado Mountain College, allowing participants access to educational and job opportunities as they re-develop their purpose in life.
